Community Support

Under this sector, BASIC Development Foundation conducts crowdfunding campaigns and mobilizes resources through Zakat, Sadqa, and Fitra, along with contributions from philanthropists. The raised funds are utilized to support health services, education, water, livelihood training, and assistance for persons with disabilities and other marginalized communities.

Wheelchairs Distribution

On 15 January 2026, Building Advanced Society through Integrated Community (BASIC) Development Foundation distributed 40 wheelchairs to persons with disabilities aged 18 to 40 years in Districts Dadu and Jamshoro. The wheelchair distribution program was held at Village Talti, Taluka Sehwan, District Jamshoro. The initiative was supported by Disabled Welfare Association Karachi and the Pakistan Independent Living Center Network.
