Communities thrive when people have access to resources, knowledge, and opportunities to shape their own futures. The Building Advanced Society through Integrated Community (BASIC) Development Foundation has been working since 2010 to support marginalized communities across Sindh in building safer, healthier, and more sustainable lives.
BASIC Development Foundation was established in response to rampant poverty, environmental challenges, and limited access to fundamental services. We recognize that climate vulnerability, social inequality, and economic hardship are deeply interconnected. Our work focuses on building and strengthening community resilience, creating and expanding livelihood opportunities, and promoting inclusive development. We serve people without gender, religious, or social biases to improve well-being and help create pathways to long-term sustainability. Read more
